Four classifications of commonly used strapping

Strap industry since the development of the fifties and sixties of the last century, has made great progress, applied in all walks of life, however, for the strapping, we know how much.
classification of commonly used strapping:
1. Polypropylene strapping: It is the cheapest strapping material. It is generally used for strapping, bundling and sealing cartons with lighter loads. Polypropylene strapping has high elongation and recovery, but is inferior to other plastic strapping in terms of sustained tension.
2. Steel strapping: Generally used to make very heavy loads into a whole transport parts or to fix the load in train carriages, trailers or ocean-going freighters. It is rarely used for contracted loads that sag or shift after strapping, but it can firmly bind compressed loads and is often used for strapping rigid loads.
3. Polyester strapping: It has the highest strength and highest continuous tension among plastic strapping. Polyester strapping is an excellent strapping material for rigid loads that require the strapping tension to be maintained during handling, transportation and storage. It is usually used for occasions requiring high tensile strength, high sustained tension and elongation. In many cases, its performance is similar to that of light gauge steel strapping.
4. Nylon strapping: with high sustained tension, generally used for heavy goods and can withstand high initial tension of the contraction load of the binding, its elongation and recovery rate than polyester or polypropylene strapping, is the most expensive plastic strapping.
